Luminette® Privacy Sheers
Luminette® Privacy Sheers from Hunter Douglas are a sweet balance between light-control and privacy. These window treatments have a sheer fabric layer in front of a layer of vertical vanes to create a soft glow at your window. The vanes can rotate up to 180°, so you can control the amount of incoming light and how much privacy you want. This collection would not only be a great choice for standard windows, but also for sliding glass doors, french doors, sidelights, and more.
Luminette® sheers are available in an array of colors, fabrics, and textures. We also have room-darkening options, which would be perfect for media rooms and bedrooms. This collection is also available with our Accents by the Yard™ option where you can create decor accents like pillows and duvets out of the same fabric as your Luminette® sheers. If you’re worried about our SofTrak™ hardware system being visible to your guests, rest assured that the system is covered by the fabric when the sheers are closed. Our panels also go up to widths of 192” and heights of 120”.

PowerView® Automation — By far, PowerView® is our most impressive operating system to date. It’s award-winning design makes light-control simply effortless. Control all of your window treatments in one place: the PowerView® App. You can adjust your privacy sheers with the touch of a button. Or, create Scenes (preset adjustments) for every optimal position you’d like your privacy sheers. Simply, click on a Scene, and your sheers will automatically adjust to meet your preset conditions.
We also have the Pebble® Remote, which is just as effortless as the PowerView® App. You can control up to six window treatments at once, and it comes in a variety of colors. So you don’t lose your remote, we offer a mounted option for the Pebble® Remote. Another incredible feature of PowerView® is the option to sync our operating system with your home automation system, so you can control your window treatments with your voice.
Wand/Cord Control — We also have wand and cord control options. The first is the wand only option, which eliminates cords that can be a safety hazard to pets and children. We also offer a more traditional operating option with a wand and cord combination.
